Welcome to Summer Reading Club in Stettler
The Summer Reading Club is a free drop-in program for students ages 5-18*. Most activities take place at the Stettler Public Library, with the exception of a few family events and Wednesday mornings at the Rochon Sands Community Hall (meet us out there if you are able). Registration continues all summer, so sign up any time in person at the library, via telephone 403-742-2292 or using our online form. To report your reading minutes and earn tokens toward the prize draw at the end of summer you can also submit your reading minutes online. You can also report your minutes by calling us or by reporting in person. Please note, all minutes need to be submitted by August 23 at 5 pm.
*Please note: Children aged 5 are welcome to join the club if they attended kindergarten in 2023/24.
Reading Challenge and Prizes
Our Summer Reading Coordinators have picked out some great prizes for you this year, sure to motivate some additional reading. Earn tokens toward the prize draw through reading! The more you read, the more tokens (entries) you earn.
Solar Seekers (Ages 5-8)
Read 60 minutes to earn a star token. Each star token equals an entry into draw of your child's choice.

Children are eligible only for the prizes listed under their age group. You can log your reading minutes either online or in person.
The deadline for submitting your reading minutes is 5 pm on August 23, at the end of the program. For each token earned, receive an entry into the prize draw.
