Welcome to Stettler's Summer Reading Club

The Summer Reading Club is a free program for students ages 5-18*. Most activities take place at the Stettler Public Library, with the exception of a few family events and Wednesday mornings at the Rochon Sands Community Hall and Wednesday afternoons we will be heading to White Sands (meet us out there if you are able).  Check out our Facebook page @SPLSummerReading for more information. Registration opens on June 1 and continues all summer.  Sign up in person at the library, via telephone 403-742-2292 or register online. To Report your minutes either contact the library or submit your reading minutes online.

*Please note: Children aged 5 are welcome to join the club if they attended kindergarten in 2024/25.

Reading Challenge and Prizes

Our Summer Reading Coordinators have picked out some great prizes for you this year, sure to motivate some additional reading. Earn passport stamps toward the prize draw through reading! The more you read, the more stamps (entries) you earn.

Children are eligible only for the prizes listed under their age group. You can log your reading minutes either online or in person.

The deadline for submitting your reading minutes is 5 pm on August 21, at the end of the program. For each token earned, receive an entry into the prize draw.
