To achieve the goal of good library service, the Board accepts the responsibility to see that building facilities are provided which will adequately meet the physical requirements of modern library service. Such facilities will offer an invitation to the community to enter, read, and learn.
Operating as a municipally owned building, the library cannot be rented to other groups thereby taking revenue away from other community organizations offering their facilities for rent. It may however be used for ad hoc meetings at the discretion of the librarian or board.
