Anyone can use the library and its resources. During library opening hours, you are welcome to read, listen to music, access your e-mail, and search the library's online magazines and newspapers.
Carstairs Public Library cards are free to any person living in Carstairs and the surrounding area. If you have a library card, you will be allowed to take materials home with you, as well as access many of the library's online resources from home.
Registering for a library card is simple. Stop by the library and ask staff for a library card or register for a library card online. If you are of age 14 or over, we can mail the card to your home. If you are age 13 or younger parental approval is required, so please stop by the library with a parent or guardian to pick up your library card.
Once you have a library card you can register with the me libraries service to use your Carstairs library card at any library in Alberta.
