The Spruce View Community Library is one of several library service points governed by the Parkland Regional Library Board. More information about Parkland Regional Library and its relationship with library service points (outlet libraries) is available on the Parkland Regional Library website.
The Spruce View Community Library was established in 2000 and joined the Parkland Regional Library system in 2001. Spruce View Community Library is open 24 hours per week during the school year (September to June) and 16 hours per week during summer break (July and August). In addition to the Manager, the library employs two Summer Reading Programmers who develop and deliver a summer reading program for children in the community. The library continues to rely heavily on volunteers. With their help, we hope to continue serving the community for many years to come.
