The Camrose Public Library Board shall set hours of service to encourage library use by all residents of the community. Library opening hours and closure dates will be posted on the website, as well as at the front door of CPL.
Hours of Use
It is the policy of the Board to ensure that the library hours are consistent with the Alberta Libraries Act and Regulations, Alta. Reg. 141/98, section 7 (2)(f) which requires regularly scheduled public hours of operation.

The Director may authorize that the library be closed when there is a general emergency (e.g. power and/or equipment failure, extreme weather conditions etc.) or a community event. These closures must be posted promptly to inform the public.
